Position Summary

We’re hiring bartenders and servers who has experience working in a full service, high-volume taproom. At this 25-tap taproom you will be committed to continuously striving for and delivering an outstanding guest experience, and have a strong passion for craft brews. 

Key Responsibilities 

Sell our entire Topsy Turvy Brewery product portfolio of beer & beyond beer

Ability to encourage exploration of other beer styles when appropriate

Stay informed, and share relevant information with guests, on events and news regarding Topsy Turvy Brewery

Attention to detail, and maintain an immaculate bar and common area

Work as a team within a group of diverse individuals

Demonstrated commitment to learning about beer products and processes

Serve non-alcoholic drinks and assist with gift shops sales as needed.

Maintain an accurate cash drawer throughout your shift and be able to account for all discrepancies in the final tally

Effectively perform opening and closing duties as specified

Requirements 

21 years old or older

Two years bartending experience.

Ability to work a variety of hours as business levels are affected by season.

Having the math skills necessary to accurately take money and return proper change.

Must be able to lift 50lbs, push or pull 160lbs, to bend and twist, be on your feet for the entire work shift. The workspace can be crowded and the floor can be slippery so caution with urgency must be practiced.

Ability to multitask in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment

Knowledge and passion for great beer and providing great service or willingness to learn.

Strong judgement and professional maturity

Bartenders must complete safe alcohol service training and maintain a current license with the city of Lake Geneva.

Cicerone Certified Beer Server (or greater) a plus
